In a new video walkthrough, Catherine Guiader, National Sailboat Sales Manager at Jeanneau America, takes you through every corner of the Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 455. The 455 is the second model in the ninth generation of Sun Odyssey sailboats, following the Sun Odyssey 415. The tour shows what makes her such an easy boat to sail and such a welcoming one to live aboard.
The walkthrough starts on deck. A new high-performance hull by Marc Lombard Yacht Design Group gives the 455 a clean, contemporary profile. Walkaround sidedecks remove the steps between cockpit and bow, and twin helms keep the boat easy to handle, whether you're sailing short-handed or with a full crew. The generous cockpit is built for long afternoons with friends.
Below deck, Jean-Marc Piaton's interior opens into a bright saloon where up to ten people can gather around the table. A fully equipped galley and comfortable cabins round out a space that feels both practical and refined, and the boat is offered in four layouts so owners can choose how they cruise.
Catherine also points out the details that set the 455 apart, including a chart table that works in two directions and an integrated onboard workshop. At 46'10" overall, with 100 gallons of water and 52 gallons of fuel, she's as ready for a weekend on the bay as she is for a longer passage.
