The first Sun Fast World Cup has just concluded, and it was a resounding success.
This challenge took place in very good conditions in La Trinité-sur-Mer on April 6th and 7th. For two days, 33 crews – 23 Sun Fast 3200s and 10 Sun Fast 3600s – did us the honour of participating in this exceptional event dedicated to SUN FAST race boats. It was a tremendous joy to see so many racers gathered together under the Jeanneau colours!
The regatta welcomed three boats flying English flags, a Lithuanian crew, and 29 French crews. The crews competed in four races: two round-the-buoys and two coastal.
The legs were hotly disputed. It must be said that the crews included excellent skippers! The competition was intense, in spite of occasionally mixed weather over the course of weekend.
Our warm congratulations to all participants!

Honouring the SUN FAST 3300
Our account of this event would not be complete without mentioning the exceptional participation of the new Sun Fast 3300! It was with great pleasure that Jeanneau presented, exclusively before the international press and skippers who were present, the new Sun Fast 3300. And the results matched our expectations. Brand new, this race sailboat with a distinctive look delivered a seductively strong performance throughout the weekend!
Tremendous thanks to all for this wonderful adventure!
Our crew would like to applaud all who contributed to this successful event, and we would like to extend our warm thanks to our partners in this very first Sun Fast World Cup: TBS, Harken, Fonderie LEMER, Technique Voile, Gaspa Joe and USHIP.
We would also like to thank the Société Nautique de La Trinité-Sur-Mer, the organisers of the race, and Christophe Gaumont, the race director, who offered a race programme to match the anticipated level of competition.
Thanks to you, this event will live on in our hearts! Many thanks to all!
