Designed by naval architects, Daniel Andrieu and Guillaume Verdier, and constructed entirely by infusion moulding, the Sun Fast 3300 benefits from exceptional resistance and rigidity, with considerable weight reduction. Because of this, it delivers not only excellent performance, but it also benefits from an advantage with regard to IRC handicap rules, notably due to its single fin keel and its adapted sail area.

Aboard this race boat, ergonomic design serves efficiency, with a spacious cockpit to facil-itate movement about the deck, and sail controls led to the helm for single-handed crossings. Five percent faster than the 3200 version, the Sun Fast 3300 is still just as stable and bal-anced on technical courses. Guillaume Verdier

Guillaume Verdier, who is renowned for his work in the America’s Cup and Vendee Globe, will bring a mastery of computational fluid dynamics and finite element analysis to this project, just as he has in the past with other high performance boats, such as the 100’ Commanche and the IMOCA 60 Hugo Boss.
