Two Jeanneau have been nominated for the 2015 Motor Boat Awards!

Each year, the Motor Boat Awards recognize the best boats tested by the British magazine, Motorboat and Yachting, in nine distinct categories. This year, Jeanneau is a finalist, with two boats to represent the brand: the Merry Fisher 695 Marlin in the category, “Starter boats” and the Leader 40 in the category, “Sports cruiser up to 45 feet.” The selection criteria are based on performance, innovation and design.

Launched in 2013, the Merry Fisher 695 Marlin features all the essential elements of the line, including: an adventurous look, side door access to a recessed sidedeck, and a spacious aft cockpit.

Fishermen will appreciate her many sporting attributes. Paired with an outboard engine, the traditional V-shaped hull is fast and stable under any conditions, with excellent seafaring qualities.

The Leader 40 was also officially launched one year ago. With long lines and an open design, the sporty silhouette of the Leader 40 conceals large living areas dedicated to sun and sea. Numerous cleverly arranged storage compartments facilitate life aboard and the enjoyment of activities on the water. Perfectly suited for swimming while at anchor, the aft swim platform is also offered in a hydraulic version for launching the tender. Designed for performance, the hull of the Leader 40 affords the exceptional comfort that has built the reputation of the Jeanneau brand.

The results will be announced on the 12th of January 2015 at the London Boat Show. Stay tuned!
