FISH OF THE DAY Season 3 Episode 1 – In Search of the Latris Lineata

In the two previous seasons of Fish of the Day (Season 1Season 2) we led you through the archipelago of New Zealand aboard the Merry Fisher 795, the Merry Fisher 695, the Velasco 43F and the NC 14.  These seasons were rich with fish, as well as spectacular landscapes, where you were able to discover the natural beauty of the territory of New Zealand.

 

Now, we are offering you the chance to continue the experience in this all-new season!  Climb aboard the Merry Fisher 895 Marlin and the Merry Fisher 795 with Clarke Gayford and discover fishing and the culinary arts in these breathtaking locations.

In this first episode of Season 3 of Fish of the Day, Clarke Gayford takes us to Half Moon Bay on Stewart Island to fish for a Latris Lineata.  However, to catch this much-coveted fish, he must fight with the Blue Cods, as well as… albatrosses!

 

So, yes, that's the challenge: see if we can pass the schools of blue cod to try to catch the Latris Lineata that we are looking for!
